Actual Experience is a digital analytics company that counts Cisco, Verizon and ITV among its clients. MIP worked with Actual Experience to translate their message on digital quality to consumer and parliamentary audiences and to the government.
MIP tapped into the national debate over inadequate broadband to position Actual Experience as a solution-provider on this issue. MIP gained mainstream media coverage for the company including in the Scotland on Sunday, on Huffington Post and an appearance by the CEO on Sky News.
We introduced the company’s message to the heart of policy making by setting up briefings with the relevant secretaries of state, ministers, their special advisers and officials.
We also helped Actual Experience engage on a parliamentary level, organising parliamentary events co-hosted by the All Party Parliamentary Group for Broadband and Digital Communication and campaign group Countryside Alliance to inform MPs of benefits of their constituents downloading Actual Experience’s diagnostic software.
Ofcom’s Connected Nations 2015 report featured Actual Experience’s evidence on broadband quality, a formative paper for the Department of Culture, Media and Sport’s broadband strategy.
