Nick Wood

Chairman

Nick is the Chairman of Media Intelligence Partners. Since founding MIP in 2004 he has built up the company to become one of the leading public relations and public affairs practices in the UK.

Before starting his own company, Nick was Press Secretary and Media Director for Conservative Party leaders William Hague and Iain Duncan Smith.

He previously had a long and distinguished career writing for various national newspapers including The Times and the Daily Express. During his time with the Conservative Party he played a pivotal role in the victory in the 1999 European elections and was at the heart of the 2001 general election campaign. He was responsible for conducting daily press briefings for five years and was consulted by party leaders and Shadow Cabinet members on all critical media, policy and presentational matters.
